The Curious Purrkin looks more Silver than this one. Something tells me they mixed the models up on these two.

Only found as main, got lucky and found rare HH breed on my 2nd sighting. Found it deep inside Perditions Hold, close to the power colossus quest. It shares spawn with Eye of Affliction, thus limited spawnspots. Use PP Dragon with Mana Surge, then forfeit fight after Eye is dead. You can chaotic riftwalk between 2 spawn southwest on either side of the bridge where the elite slowly patrols over, and the tremaculum for 3 spots. Else 4 spots inside perditions hold.

I'm running circles in outer main pathway through beastwarrens, theres like 5 wild pets, using Xu-Fu to kill first critter, forfeit - that will forcespawn a new one. When I get up northeast, I poke my head into elite area, and kill the single helsworn soulseeker which can drop a pet too. 

I'm one of those with a level 25 Bananas pet back from early days of BMAH in MoP (fun times). I tried to claim it via browser on their store as instructed, got the "Claimed" but never got anything in game. Then I tried caging my existing one, re-claim from store, relogging in/out of client+account in browser. Nothing worked for me, but did get reports from others who got it to work for them using this work-around. Filed a bug report, went through 3 GMs before they confirmed it was known issue.

There is only one spawn spot, the one already mentioned, it runs around in a circle with a 5min respawn timer approx. Doesn't seem to spawn as secondary pet, also seems to have high chance to spawn as a rare quality (3 out of 4 checks blue for me, 1 green). So put up campfire till you get the breed you want. I was gunning for an HP.

Four other addition locations of Fleeting Frog (the regular spawn) are on beach next to the fisherman gnome west. Alliance landing point beach. Down SE near Scrapclaw and the Toxic horrors. Due east of Western Spray/Freza on the empty beach. Was clearing out FF myself, till i saw one Yellow Junkhopper only getting killed accidently by random player YIKES. Got the tip to check inside Operation Mechagon, so I went in, and my macro picked up a spawn on alliance beach. So perhaps worth checking.

So you find yourself a pet you like, possible a rare, or the breed you're after, heck even color. Before doing anything, you mouseover the pet in the backline and see if it has Explode or not. If it does - restart the match as this causes the moveset abilities the wild pets can spawn with to rotate. You might get Explode again, it might pick the other ability in the same slot. You lose 10% of current health when you forfeit, so you probably want to bandage after peeking 1-2 times. 62,59 primary

Does did even spawn as a rare? Few mechagon wild pets I haven't seen as a rare yet at all.

Yeah I'm looking at breed options as well, base stat is different and breed selection varies. The odd thing is the same movement, yet different models. With 7 of these, I'm thinking spreading breeds out, like 2x SS, 2x PP and some HP / HH / PB.

 

 

Wowhead has a good starter list of waypoints but its far from complete. Playing 3 days into the patch I've added 12 more waypoints, essentially in the same areas, but different node spawn. You want to look for waterfalls and the small rivers that follow these. 

Ye, I can't find any rare either, been circling for 1-2 hours now. Grabbed a HP since speeds are so slow anyway.

Can confirm N'chala spawn location as given by coords in previous comment. Was standing under the bridge with /tar macro whilst in queue and he popped to my right towards the grounds, very close to the regular green raptor you see walking. His direction was immediately walking pace towards me under the rope-bridge.

Lets hope the devs don't fcck up again and lets us release the pets we buy from the dungeon's vendor.

Meh missed these news and now stuck with old charms having all pets+toys, could have had 35 epic stones instead. God damnit.

The PvP pets+rewards have been shifted around but the rewards still locked in after the old system. I made myself a ticket, they are aware its a known bug and it will indeed get fixed. For those of us who don't enjoy PvP but still managed to snag the Prestige 1 pets and possible got some honor up to Prestige 2 can now enjoy the two Dutiful ones now as they are earlier rewards now. Recruiting yourself just gotmore expensive than before with the base game cost being translated into a month of gametime. Gametime as we know it is pretty much fixed price that doesn't budge, whereas the base game could be found on sale.

 

 

Before: 5 euro + 13 euro + 13 euro (recruiter gets this returned as gametime) for total cost of 18 euro.

 

Now: 13 euro + 13 euro + 13 euro (recruiter gets this returned as gametime) for total cost of 26 euro.

 

 

8 euro difference more, an increase in price of 44%. 

I really dont like they go in and change movesets or stats, really fakk us breed-minded collectors up, forcing us to re-evaluate current breed we have selected.

I like the new subcategories, theres simply so many pets in WoW that I think it was much needed. It probably wouldn't do me any good with moveset vs breed, for that I'm using wowhead's pet ability filters. However there are many ways to enjoy pets in WoW and I'm sure this helps people finding their favorite looks/type.

 

 

Good info on the meta achievement not being gated and the heads-up for A-H PvP pet credit. Reason I came on to read these news so thanks :)

Speaking with people, it seems the easiest way to get prestige is simply doing all the pvp WQs everyday. That should net you 1000-1500 honor a day with little effort. Then you can multiply/divide to see how long it takes. You can do ally+horde at same time and you should get both pets roughly at the same time. GL!

Got it today 2nd attempt. Cageable, item that gives you the pet is boe aswell. First day I got a beast-stone. Pet came in rare quality H/P breed, dunno if theres more breeds. The tamer isn't shown on map when "Pet Battles" is checked, located 63,35 Northern Barrens. Use a Nexus Whelpling for first two pets.
