This pet is available for digital download exclusively from the Blizzard Store. It may be purchased using any major credit card. The pet is added directly to the Pet Journal. All WoW accounts under (of the same region) one Battle.net will have access to this pet. Codes may also be purchased as gifts for other players.

Between April 24 through May 7, 2025, this pet was also available from the Springtime Pet Pack which also included 18 other Bnet Store pets. The bundle came at a discounted price should the recipient already own some of the listed pets.

This pet shares the same model as Swoopy in Classic, however the pet has a different name for each version. Whoopy in Retail, and Swoopy in Classic.
