Three Promotional Pets Now Available

October 10, 2023
Ysergle
UPDATE: The BlizzCon 2023 battle pet has been revealed! Give a warm welcome to Ysergle, The Dreamurk (pictured right)!

BlizzCon attendees will receive this pet for free, while others watching BlizzCon from home can purchase the The BlizzCon Collection (Epic or Legendary Pack) to collect this pet along with other digital goodies. [source]

Lil' Maggz
The Blizzard Store has a new pet addition, but only for a limited time. [source]

New Store Pet
A baby pit lord has invaded Azeroth (and our hearts) — meet Lil' Maggz! (pictured above)

This fearsome little demon is available for purchase from the Blizzard Store until October 31, 2023. At that point it will be retired, but if you miss out, fear not, this pet will be available again in the future. Once removed from the store it will be added to the in-game Trading Post item rotation after a three month grace period (at minimum).

Will you be adopting this adorable battle pet from the Blizzard Store? Or will you wait for its appearance as a Trading Post item?

Reminder: Prime Gaming Loot Pet
Zipao Tiger
Amazon Prime Gaming is offering a battle pet for a limited time — Zipao Tiger. [source]

The Zipao Tiger (pictured right) was originally a Recruit-A-Friend reward, but was retired in June 2019.

Players with Amazon Prime Gaming can now redeem this pet until October 24, 2023. It's unknown if it will be available again in the future either via the Trading Post or some other source, so don't miss out on this chance!

New Hallow's End Pet & Store Pets Retiring Soon

October 20, 2023
Arfus
Hallow's End is upon us, and new to the event this year is a ghostly companion — Arfus!

New Holiday Pet
Arfus (pictured right) has a chance to drop from the epic Loot-Filled Pumpkin. This pet is Bind On Pick Up and not cageable. The loot bag is awarded for the first Headless Horseman kill per character (level 60+) per day.

For a slightly increased drop chance, you can activate a personal "hardmode" of the Headless Horseman encounter. Accepting the curses from the wickermen (found to the left as you zone into the dungeon) will make the fight more challenging for you, but may lead to better/more rewards from the bag. Check out Wowhead's Hallow's End Headless Horseman Hardmode guide to learn more about this updated holiday boss.

Store Pets Retiring Soon™
Hallow's End Pack
Two Blizzard Store battle pets will be leaving the shop indefinitely in the near future. [source]

Nibbles and Mischief are currently part of a special Hallow's End Pack (but can also still be purchased individually). In the same vein as a recently released pet, Maggz, items in this bundle will be retired from the store on October 31, 2023. However, unlike Maggz, it's unknown if Nibbles and Mischief will make an appearance at the Trading Post in the future, but it's possible.
