Shadowlands Soon™! We've updated our database with all 131 upcoming Shadowlands pets. Please report any errors or corrections, thank you.

We're still working on getting the database up to speed with the level squish (updates to quest levels, achievements, etc.). Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Happy collecting & battling!

@Caanrial: Automating re-imports for every account would tax our system too much and severely slow down the site for all users. We decided to go with a method that would not impact the site as heavily.

@Radriegal: It's not stated directly in Blizzard's announcement blog, but it would seem there are new online privacy laws in California that Blizzard has to comply with, and as a result, those that utilize Blizzard's API must also follow the new rules.

@Kravens: Here's the US Store link for the Shadowlands Complete Collection (more expensive version).

Important note: You can only buy the Complete Collection if you've NEVER purchased WoW or any WoW expansion before. It's similar to how the WoW Battle Chest used to work, and includes stuff like previous expansions. It does not offer more or different redeemable rewards or physical items.

@Dalandius: According to this CS blue post, the Epic Edition Complete Collection is intended for brand new players who have never purchased a WoW expansion. Think of it like the old Battle Chest - it includes previous expansions, plus a few extra perks.

If you already own BFA, you'll get an error when attempting to purchase the Complete Collection.

We're aware of the import bug. Our lead web developer has submitted a report to Blizzard, so we're waiting to hear back. It's possible it's an issue on Blizzard's end (API outage when 8.2 released).

In the meantime, try this workaround to get your WarcraftPets collections up-to-date. Apologies for the inconvenience.

@Richdawg: You can find a printable checklist for the new 8.2 pets here -

@FuxieDK: The pet that's looted from a slimy cocoon is indeed a random one out of possible 7.

However, there are 4 different slimes that can all be "cycled" during the same week. So 4 slimy cocoons = 4 chances each week. If you're lucky and get a different pet from each one every time, you only need ~2 weeks' worth of slimy cocoons to collect all 7 'slimy pets'. RNG is RNG, as always though!

@Gilneas: We've fixed patch numbers in the post.

- Patch 8.1 = 'Tides of Vengeance' week of December 11th

- Patch 8.1.5 = Children's Week updates + Return of Brawler's Guild

- Patch 8.2+ = 'Rise of Azshara'

Hopefully it's clearer now. Thanks!

@Telepatra: You'll need 5100 charms for the new vendor pets, and 750 charms for the new toys. Total is 5850 Polished Pet Charms for everything.

@Fynzou: Thanks for pointing that out. We've clarified that Hearthy will be collectible in BFA.

@Truweildude: Keep in mind there is still some time before BFA is released, so maybe a few more will be added. I'm sure even more will be added in follow-up patches throughout the expansion.

@Wezmerelda: At the moment, the Lost Platysaur is just incomplete in the Pet Journal. It's not flagged as a non-combat battle pet with a, "This creature cannot battle" journal entry. Things could change though. We'll have to wait and see.

@Dwamli: The Rotten Little Helper has a different moveset and breed than both of the "original" Winter Helpers companions. It deserves its own 'Pet of the Month' feature, and perhaps in the future we'll do just that!

@Ajababee: The giveaway is for BlizzCon 2017 attendees. Those that attended the WarcraftPets Community Meet-Up at the convention and wrote their WarcraftPets Username on the sign-in sheet are eligible for the giveaway.

@Angelcat2887: Importing/updating a WarcraftPets collection is working, however it seems slower this patch. It might take multiple attempts to properly update your WarcraftPets stats.

Before re-importing, make sure to log out of your character (sometimes logging out of the game completely works best) so that your armory profile is updated.

@Moused: Twilight is currently behaving similar to the BlizzCon 2016 murky-themed pets. When she's summoned, she's flagged as a minion instead of a battle pet and it does not show her correct level. Hopefully Blizzard will fix this soon.

We're working on adding Twilight to WarcraftPets as quickly as possible. There was little to no warning of her release beforehand, and tracking down certain data/info on her has been more troublesome than usual. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

@Biscuit - It's unclear if the new pets will come in multiple breeds, and I've only managed to collect 2/3. Here's what I have so far:

Pet Reaper 50 - At level 1 (common): 149 HP, 10 Power, 9 Speed

Pocket Cannon - At level 1 (rare): 164 HP, 12 Power, 9 Speed

Tricorne - (I've yet to collect this on the PTR)

I've listed the abilities for each pet on my blog.

Hope this helps!

@Mahgra: There are currently two difficulties of the dungeon.

Normal - The initial quest/dungeon you'll complete. Requires at least one max level pet. You can heal and revive your pets while inside.

Challenge - The second version of the quest/dungeon. You'll only be offered the Challenge version if you have at least 15 level 25 pets. You cannot heal or revive your pets while inside.

Whether you're for or against the DK and Monk pets, feel free to leave feedback on the US Bnet 7.2 PTR thread (started by our very own Adumbledore!):

Remember: feedback will be better received and taken seriously so long as it's constructive, respectful, and on-topic.

@Ringo: I put together a preview of the RWL IV idle animations on my blog. Some pets are even color-changers!

Not all of them have a unique animation so it's possible that they're still a Work In Progress.

@Ajattara: Blizzard has not made an official statement on what is going on with the Menagerie dailies yet, so we still can't say for certain.

@Mimimousegirl: Yes, the Pet Battle Bonus Event will be back in Legion at an undisclosed date. I believe they're updating the schedule for all Bonus Events.
