Arfus

I didn't even know he existed and he dropped today on my first run.  It was normal, no curses.  Good luck!  I still don't have the mount though!  

Is this little guy any good at battling?  He looks great, but not worth farming a million times for if he's not actually useful besides increasing your pet count and looking shiny.

I did this 8 times tonight and got Arfus.  Not a brag, just FYI in case they increased the drop rate this year.  Last year I probably did it 100 times and no pet.

I ran this about 234 times year,

Arfus Dropped 3 times

1 Mount 

0 Saddle  

Goes to show it really is random 

I ran it 20 - 27 times a day on my semi legion of 60-70's and NO Arfus. I think the game knows I'm a cat person as I'm missing Bakar and now Arfus! I always ran first one of the day in hard mode and a combination of hard mode and normal throughout. 

After about 120 attempts, I got Arfus with 4 minutes left before the whole event closed down.  This was the first time that I DIDN'T use the curses, I only had the burning man buff and it was my first toon of the day.  Curses suck. 

Ran 16 times a day and no Arfus this year, not happy but nothing I can do but wait till next year if I'm still playing ughh!

I feel like a fool having done this every day so far on 27 char's a day.

Friend in my community have Arfus dropped for her 3 times.....

Too much rng and bad programming.

This is ridiculous. Every day running multiple alts and ZIP.  Multiple squashlings, rings, brooms and masks.  They really need to revamp the whole thing. The fact that you can't sell anything either is also irritating. You have to destroy them one by one AND type delete for the others.  Really Blizz? This could be a great holiday thing to do but no, instead you're just pissing everyone off. Vent over

This is Crazy. I've been pet collecting since 2008 and this is one of the first times I failed to get a pet. Im getting older now so its alot tougher to keep up.

This is utterly stupid on Blizzards part.  Once a year events should not hace such low drop rates, whether it be a pet or a mount.  This is a good way to piss people off and lose subs..

Finally collect it after 117 attempts, all in Hard Mode.  The acquisition was on first character of the day.  

Well, here we go again. I'm REALLY not looking forward to the grind, but hopefully they changed the drop rate. 

200 kills, no Arfus but this is how ridiculously low his drop rate was in comparrison to other items:

50 x Magic Broom

37 x Sinister Squashling

14 x The Horseman's Sinister Slicer

7 x The Horseman's Horrific Hood

16 x Seal of Ghoulish Glee

15 x The Horseman's Ring

14 x Band of the Petrified Pumpkin

9 x Wicked Witch's Signet

23 years of loyalty and they've finally broken me and driven me away as a customer :(

He has a unique moveset, unfortunately :\ I'm at 93 attempts, some with full curses left, some without. Really hoping I'll get him this year, I want a goodest ghosty boy

I got it my first try today . I was playing the tank . Good Luck everyone , I didn't know how lucky i was until i read everyone's posts . 

126 attempts later got him on normal on my Main before logging over to my Alts. i nearly didnt log on as this pet has been a slog to get. GL all
