I saw this as a backline and a frontline pet. I had the buff "Unseeming Shift" - see creatures in the unseeming and creatures in the unseeming can see you. Buff comes from the Extractor Storage - I found one at 63.49, 85.86

 

Coords: 65.02, 86.80

 

Update: You need the buff to see this pet as a frontline. Destroy the Black Blood Collectors found on the ground in the Maddening Deep to get the buff. Leaving the area causes you to lose the buff.

Found it as backline to a Winged Arachnoid in Pillar-nest Noth (78,81) , poor quality but HH breed.  Battled Rak-ush clear of battle pets 4 times before it showed.  (Did pickup a couple other rares in the process)

Found it as a backline pet to a Chitin Burrower in Azj-Kahet at 74.29, 76.66.
