Easily found as a primary pet. I found several around the cliffs in the western and southwestern areas of the zone. This was the first pet that I found & captured in the new expansion, as it's found close to the starting area. (I play an Alliance character as my main, so Horde may start in a different spot.)

While larger proto avians are known to feed on small animals, fledglings mostly eat insects and grubs.
