I found a rare Ironbeak Duck as a secondary pet to a poor Snowlemental at the Flashfrost Assault on the Waking Shores. It took me about 20 minutes of restarting the battle to find the rare white, black, and red version. It was H/S.

The black/red one is a very rare spawn of regular colors. Never seen one as a front pet as I "force-switched" the colors of the secondary pets ;)

Though many creatures of the Dragon Isles are mysterious, the ducks are perhaps the most so. Where did they come from? Where are they going? What are they planning? We may never know.
