Loves to herd imps, roll around in lava, and snuggle with elemental lords.
Also now available for 10 bronze celebration tokens during the 20th anniversary event!
He's adorable and versatile with beast and elemental abilities, definitely one of my favourites.
I logged in during this event but I noticed I dont have this pet. How do I find out why its not in my pet collection?
I think she's still the most striking pet in the game. You just can't not notice Molten Corgi when it's out. It's a freaking lapdog made out of freaking LAVA! I by-the-way use her all the time. Beauty and utility plus the cutist doggy animation ever! Only problem is I can't cuddle her.
I love this pet for Puppies of the Flame. It is similar to the Terrible Turnip's ability Sons of the Root. Great for dodging some mechanical abilities, like Launch Rocket when used in time, depending on rng and speed of course :) I love the look of the pet, and just so sweet to bring out.
He looks adorable until you see him drag his butt along the ground and then sniff the.. ehh.. molten trail that he left behind. That's where you back away slowly and find a nice place to hide.
If you were lucky enough to login over WoW's 10th, then use this pet as your go-to for capturing wild pets. Its Superbark ability is amazing for capping pets of a low level, even if your Corgi is level 25.
Just make sure that there is no weather effects that damage the rival pet, and you're probably good. Happy hunting!
I would so like this pet, how would one get it?
This pet would have to be my favourite (as much as I want it to be my Hyacinth Macaw that my husband gave to me in vanilla). Superbark is great but be warned - when using it on beetles etc with the survive ability, it may not work. Use extra caution as they will often die anyway.
Darling cutie that makes little barking sounds and scoots his butt on the 'carpet'... LOL
Totally bummed that there's no way to acquire this beauty. Sigh...better luck next time???
Anyone else reminded of Zwei from RWBY?
Best. Pet. Evar. I mean, not only does she provide perfect capture assistance, she's excellently animated (the ear action during running? Flawless!) and perfectly corgish. And she doesn't even shed!
For levelling this pet is pretty much one of the most powerful you can have IMO. Puppies of the flame has hardly any counters at lower levels. This guy's power fades quickly however at later levels when you have abilities like block, any healing spell or attacks that do damage to backline pets also. I found the strand crawler to be a great counter
I was surprised the site only showed 16.4 % have this...then realised that is probably the percent of people actively updating their collections on this site...anyone with a sub will have it unless they really hate dogs (*gasp*) and went through to delete it on every alt - lol. (I just banked them on every toon...good way to tell if you have checked your mail on unused characters recently...)
Named mine after my corgi, who we just lost to aggresive cancer. I really love this cute little guy!
He's decent in battles... honestly, not my first choice, but I'm a big fan of the "puppies of the flame" attack for sheer cuteness factor. A fun elemental pet for sure!
This guy's star abilities are Superbark, which never kills; great for catching pets(RIP Terrible Turnip :D). He can tank nicely with Puppies of the Flame and Cauterize. His level 20 move is a neat niche move that can be effective in PvP battles.
Pretty decent pet, but not the most ideal. Squirrels and Anubisath Idol can easily take this guy down; Puppies of the Flame doesn't stop DoTs. He's a very good counter to settup sweepers and good at stalling battles.
I've spent several minutes attempting type out what's on my mind for the Molten Corgi. Screw it. I love this pet because the last dog I had was a Corgi that I only had for a year before I had to put her down. I haven't been able to have a pet since then because I still feel the loss. Recently I had been thinking about finally getting another one and BAM, Blizzard provided me with a surrogate. I just returned to WoW and had no idea that with was going to happen. Nice surprise. Thanks Blizz.
Gals and Guys in case you hadn't noticed this pet is the perfect capture ability pet. Superbark fine print: (This attack cannot reduce the opponent's health below 1.)
I am dedicating today to leveling my new cute little luvabwle pwuppy! :)
It does more than just "idle about" like the description says. Its animations are very similar to the Perky Pug. It scratches its ear, sniffs the air, and scoots its butt across the floor--but unlike the Pug, it leaves a firey trail of...um...butt scootage after which it turns and then sniffs the molten leavings in typical dog fashion.
Blizz really outdid themselves on the cute factor with this one. SO excited.
