Found a Rare Gold Beetle located west of Caverns of Time. Cords. 57.8, 49.1
Found one rare yesterday in Tanaris. I can confirm that they do come as secondaries to Stripe-tailed Scorpids, Desert Spiders and Stink bugs at the very least.
Thought the rare I found was not a secondary.

Located this lil guy (Rare) as a second to a Striped Tailed Scorpid by chance!
I had battled many lil paws along the way trying to find one and today it happened. Â While it's not a super battler - it does have Apocalypse!

Came here for some comfort after spending a couple of hours looking for my rare in Badlands. Â Finally found one with a Spiky Lizard. Â He spawns as a second to everything... so just keep killing!
although it shows gold beetles in Tanaris there are none i'm been all over Tanaris, unless they only come out at a certain time of day or night or in a sand storm.
Locations on west end of Badlands map is wrong - hardly any there
Found my rare right outside of Uldaman cave entrance in Badlands. Â It was paired with a rare black rat as well. Â There were 3 battleable pets in this area (right near the wooden cliff walls) @ 42,10. Â One was un-battleable, I think because it was stuck behind the wood. Â The other two were fine and one was my rare! Â I searched for days off and on in Tanaris and it took just 30 mins in Badlands. Â It happens a lot to me like that...see my comments on "Chicken" too.

just got a common for the achieve in badlands, not worried about rariety for it at this time.
Found mine (rare) just outside Thistleshrub Valley as a second with a Stinkbug (also most likely rare). Â 4th fight with this critter in this area yeilding 1 common, 2 uncommon and 1 rare.Â
I managed to capture an uncommon out in Badlands, however most of what I see out there are poor quality, and its only been a handful I have seen. This was about 30 or so mins of farming out there for the various critters that could be found.
I did managed to also find some in the excavation site, but all those down there were of poor quality.
Have you guys caught a rare? I've been farming for hours and hours in Tanaris, without luck :( only get up til uncommon no fair! :(
I got mine at Lost Rigger Cove. There were 2 of them that I saw. Not sure of respawn times.
Be careful, he's a bit squishy for a lvl 16 pet.

Found one in tanaris at 40,90 uncommon one, not seen anymore so far.
Found mine in Badlands no probelm. Usually around the base of mountains/hills.
