About Blushadows:
I've been a pet collector since I learned about them being in-game. I believe my first was the "Tiny Crimson Whelpling" but it could have been the "Dark Whelpling".
As the game progressed and I made alts, I reacquired each pet so every character could have them. Eventually, when the pet book (not account-wide) and achievements came, I created a spreadsheet to keep track of what pets each of my ten classes had, nine had earned the "Celestial Dragon" (150 pets) at that time.
The Pet Battle system being added to the game, in my opinion, was one of the best new elements Blizzard ever added to WoW.
...and as the cliché goes, it was all downhill from there.
