Status Update (1)

Finally got the pet that started it all. Deviate Hatchling dropped in my latest solo expedition to WC. Now if I can be as lucky with the Emerald Whelpling (many whelplings died for this endeavor), I'd be well on my way.

Also finally got Grunty the murloc marine in the mail. Apparently the code redemption was just to reserve a spot for the full-on mailing. Bazooka launch and gun-twirl are my favorite pet actions from him so far. Clicking on him gives chatter static through his comm system. lol

I'm glad they finally updated the mount quest to match the raptor one. Much better idea than just farming. A little interaction with a pet brings a lot. :> Going to have to go back to Winterspring to start this! :)

I actually find this pet rather cool. When I tried it out, I was surprised how real its movements were from legs to antennae and how it would catch up by fluttering. Only gripe is as I travel, I see its revealed behind more than any other part of it which isn't an ideal view. ;p
