there are three buildings in Uldum, Lost city of Tol'vir, Halls of Origination, and the floating one The Vortex Pinnacle.  There is a person or object with a blue exclemation mark that requires one heiroglyph.  Doing those really helped me.  Got mine the very day that I finished all three.  I went in with a 103 hunter and had no problem.  

I sat at the two casums all day  and only saw one sandstrom.  visability is not as bad as others say but you do see sand flying everywhere.  The storm came at about 6:20 pm central time.  At 7: 15 it was still going on.  Got a silithid, poor,  about the 4th one i fought was common and the 5th was rare. 

I have killed thousands of mireblogs in SoS, opened over 160 bags and nothing.  I amit great for $ searching as long as I have.  but is there a specific time to hunt for these guys?

I GOT ONE.  They are green pawed.  5:54 am Taranis server.  Killing just the infernals.  Tried the other way with killing the rats and got nothing or more tainted rats.
