I just got this on one of my alts on trollbane US. We mostly play alliance while I got it on a horde alt. We do have a tiny horde guild which has the achievement as a result. If anyone on trollbane  (or our connected ream Malfurion) wants the pet, look for someone in Strike at Dawn (horde side) or manaburners inc (alliance side).

This guy can be devestating in battle. Especiall if you've just used another pet like tranquil mechanical yeti to use Call Lightning to add the Lightning Storm buff to mechanical attacks.

 

Bring in Bling. Use Extra Plating if you're up against an enemy that can potential do a lot of damage.

 

Then use Make It rain (with lightning storm buff if possible).

 

Next do inflation. That carries on for a few turns, and doubles all your damage - including the continuing damage from make it rain.

I find him to be a very powerful pet. Often use him to finish off a fight. Ion Canon can be devestating, especially against pets where its damage is increased. If it doesn't kill the opposing pet though it can leave you vulnerable for a couple of rounds.

This guy was one of my favourite pets even before pet battles were added to the game. In battles I find he's a very versatile pet. There are pets that can counter a crawdad but in many cases when I've come up against a pet tamer and had trouble, it's been the crawdad that's gotten me through. Well worth getting.
