My first battle-stone that I can't use (I'm out of Humanoids).  It's a threshhold!

Re: Gloop

GLOOP REPORT:

18 pools / 27+2 Voidfin, 36 Gnasher (63 casts - it dropped in the middle of that last Voidfin pool.

Most of the fishing was in Uldum, due to the expansive Vir'naal Lake and river system, but the first two (three?) pools were in the Vale.

I found the best spot was at the Putrid Laboratory, both levels - the Assistants died fast, and had reasonable droprate for eyes.  Interestingly, I was about 200 short of the pet amount, and suddenly hit a sweet spot where they seemed to spawn extra fast and extra profitably.

Also, some of the, um... [makes grasping motion] Creepy Floating Guys over at the ship dock (has the Minimax ship opponent, the three bombs, the portal to the WQ boss) were consistently dropping 5-6 eyes in a row of kills for me.

The last recommended spot are the clusters of mobs around Lieutenant Xakaar, who is south and slightly east of the Spirit Crucible.  They respawn almost immediately, in phases, and drop a respectable number of eyes.  Try to avoid engaging the Lieutenant, though - unless he's a WQ, he'll waste your time.

I found the H/P to be pretty easy to find, with P/B the most common breed; but had to do the scorched-earth respawning method for a couple of rounds before a P/S showed up.

There seems to be usually four pets out at any given (undisturbed) time, and about twice as many critter-version whelplings, curiously twice as big as the pets.

I want those Pets for Your Pets even more now, you realise.  We have the Saucer, after all.

Third colour combination for the common spawn is purple with green fins (as opposed to green with purple fins).

I would have sworn I'd captured one each of the microbots, but when I brought them out to apply stones, they were all Spraybot.  Do they change between appearances?

All your work and inspiration is a huge gift to the community.  Thank you so much, Breanni!

Take a look at Wowhead.  Bumbling Bees drop the Annealed Honey Amulet much more often than the monsters, and apparently the Beehemoth does as well.  I got my amulet on my third group of bees all the way over in Gale's Rest - where things are quiet and unthreatening and not trying to kill you with honey.

Only kill the honey-creatures afterwards, when you're feeding the bee.

Frivolous comment:  I named mine Elphaba.  Can't wait for my Kul Tiran Druid to have her as a constant companion.

Re: Taptaf

Daihok, did you notice the mage's name is 'Jedi', and the attempted spells refer to a 'Daniel Gustafson'?

If you have waterwalking, you can go through Daelin's Gate from Fletcher's Hollow or Vigil Hill - mind the hostiles in the water.  If you're more of a mountain-climbing type and have some fall mitigation, you can scramble over the heights from Fletcher's Hollow and drop to the path up to Idej's cottage.  There's a small dock extending into the sea at the foot of the path, and virtually no beach/shoreline leading to it.

Arji, yes, that was my error - I did not consider that they'd only unlock as World Quests.

I'm just a tiny bit disappointed that I've caught all the wild pets already, and so many are vendored instead.  It's going to take me ages, which I suspect was the intent, but everybody else has already stampeded to get to 120 and my rankings here will get stomped on. [/pout]

I found a Master Tamer while questing last night, but she had no battle for me.  Was it War Mode, or are they just not 'up and running yet', might anyone know?

I agree with Damiasylver04!  That seems oddly out of place.  It shouldn't be that hard to swap models.

There's a colour variation not shown here.  The one I caught is yellow with green spots and paws, with orange fins and tails and aqua spines.

It's surprisingly glossy.

I got impatient and found one at a nice price on another server - I'm a little disappointed in the appearance, it doesn't look as polished as most of the new-model pets.  I wonder if they haven't got to the flappy snakes various winged serpents yet.

For what it's worth, I tried fighting her with a L38 Goblin, and kept being told I couldn't do that while I was in combat... except I never was.  Can anybody else help check for some kind of level cap?

25:63(ish), just outside a little cave.  Natural rare P/B!  I was thrilled.  Hard fight, too - backed up by a Sandpiper and a Violet Firefly.  The spider alone had nearly taken out my Molten Corgi and Feline Familiar.  Thank goodness for my Sentinel's Companion and the two backline opponents being Flying.

I found A green P/S Felspider just outside the Highmountain Burial Grounds (27:41, just in from the west coast; nearest FP is neutral Felbane Camp) with Mist Fox Kits and a Long-Eared Owl in proximity.  I've no idea whether this is a good hunting ground for them yet, having seen only the one, but it's an option to explore.

Ran back and forth between the two beaches in Stonescar Gorge, two or three parts of Weeping Bluff and that little no-name lake directly south of Aggramar's Vault where two beavers spawn. After killing several innocent creatures simply beavering around, a B/B Stormstruck Beaver finally spawned on the northern Gorge beach (the one without the petrified fisherman).
