With respect, a major difference from the Emperor Crab is that the Emp has Surge. So it goes first, negating even say Flyer opposition like a Teroclaw significantly, as it's Alpha Strike will hit one less.

You can't really compare the two crabs, and the Emp is still one of the best PVP pets out there.  This one?  Meh.

The drop rate has 'increased' etc.  BUT this STILL took me over 12 hours of hard at it play, by which time I had accumulated 11 STACKS of Astral Glory, to give an idea.  Even with Sky Golem, enchant on gloves, anti stun barding, all that, it was a VERY tedious exercise.

So I'd suggest if you see one for a decent AH price (on my server it was like 200k and NO way I'd pay that for a pet, one like this at least - did see 50k for example elsewhere), then do THAT. This got me rather testy.

Well...this MIGHT be decent PVP pet.  Okay Crystal Prison no good at that Speed, but Breath isn't totally useless.

Wing Buffet isn't necessarily a Speed move, although sure - stronger if you had it.

Bend Time could be v handy indeed, but in the end might be just too much stuffing around - not sure.  Worth a shot to test it out with a few teams.

Don't call me Shirley.

Regarding Breed: without wanting to be contentious, I'm not sure we could say P/B or B/B is superior to P/P.  At L25, P/B has 273 Speed, with B/B at 276.  There are health gains, but not that huge in either case, compared to the Power of the P/P (for obvious reasons).  The point is, neither 273 nor even 276 is going to be THAT helpful.  I agree on the moveset wanting Speed though, and on Fox Dance or similar being needed. But then it could be P/P anyway.

Either H/H or H/P for breed.  The problem with the latter is that you can't see which breed you have, at level 1 - H/P and H/B look the same.  THAT is why it comes up all questions marks, breedwise  You can see what I'm referring to here under Battle Stats, moving your slider to the left.

Anyway to sort it out, you'll need to take it to level 2 - THEN the difference between H/P and H/B becomes apparent and you can decide whether to keep etc.

IMO, this isn't a great PVP pet, unlike its cousin, the S/S Nightshade Sproutling.  Any way you consider the pet, there's a limitation of one kind or another. EG:  Lash is a much better move than Club, BUT must be fast.  Sons is not a great move.  Any of HH, PP or SS would be...'workable', if specced and played in a certain way, in each case. Other non balance breeds don't assist very much , except HP in a tanking role.  Those 4.
