Note that you need to basically be on the ground in the blue bit for these to appear on your map. If you're just flying over, you won't see them.

This can be found in the wild (not just as a backline pet). I found mine around 73.1, 85.7 in Ohn'ahran Plains.

I found mine in the Vale near the pet trainer there - happy hunting! I think they're another one of those pets that spawn in a cluster, so keeping one up and waiting for respawns might be the best way to farm them.
