This little guy wrecks shop matched up with a Clockwork Gnome building turrets and a Lil Bling throwing money around. The combo of dmg buffs and debuffs with the multiple dots is killer. I did most of the Roboteer achievement with that team.

Took me 13 minutes of making the rounds on the big island west of Socrethar's Rise. The respawn was so fast, I didn't even have to go around the other islands.  

Glad the guy selling one in trade was offline before I whispered him because I probably would have overpaid even at a few hundred gold. Looking forward to trying him out!

Flew around Northrend for a couple frustrating hours looking for a Val'kyr, and jetted over to the Coldarra to see if I could finally find one of these spawned. Not only were there a bunch, the first I engaged was a rare and came with a rare tolai hare and a rare borean penguin, neither of which I have in blue! It was so hard to kill them, but I think this little guy was worth it. Lvl 19 P/P, and I went over to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and promptly killed a lvl 25 frog. Caught 9:25pm Draenor

To anyone hoping that all the hard to find pets always spawn as rares (see comment by Goodlose below), it is not the case.  

Found one today after fighting a LOT of prairie dogs.  It showed up like a mob at the edge of the pet battle field as I started a fight with an adder and yet another prairie dog. I promptly conceded to the inferior pets and caught him. Poor quality. Boo. As a side note, I never saw an adult giraffe.
