In regards to the tip for the crafting order (@Trianthe): I gave 6000g, with all mats included. Considering that the AH price of the pet on my realm is currently 24000g, I think this is OKish, probably a bit low. The order was completed within 2 hours.

I always find it hilarious when people are posting crafting orders with a humiliating tip of 10g or such. Even if the crafter has zero mat costs, he still has invested time/gold in learning the recipe, or in this case, farming the recipe.

Lovely pet. Makes nice noises, and it mounts when my toon mounts. It even flies along, on his flying mount.

As a Lock I tried to find/create a group for the summoning thingy to no avail. Waste of time.

Easier solution: Though I dislike Elves and DHs, I leveled a silly Elf to a DH, aquired the class hall tech, then leveled him on in BfA to a sufficient overkill item level (~280), and got the pet on the first fight. (With DH no group required.)

If you think creating a DH just for one pet is too much, keep in mind you can keep the guy and use him as bank storage for reagents.

Would like to see an achievement “Win a pet battle using 3 Elekk Plushies”. The reward should be a good one.

In my experience, the best allrounder is the H/P. Its Power is usually enough and it has a noticeable Health reserve compared to the other P breeds, which can make the difference for one more hit.

Though I suggest to also have a P/P and a P/S ready, for certain fights where the extra Power or Speed is crucial.

The H/H is mainly useful for the max. Explosion damage, but I found that for non-Explosion fights the missing Power can be an issue.

Re: Mouse

Is it just me or is the P/S Mouse extremely rare?

In the different zones I found countless of the other available breeds (B/B, S/S, S/B, H/B), including multiple blue ones of each, but I found literally exactly one P/S Mouse (poor quality, in The Exodar).

Finally I gave up and stoned the Poor P/S Mouse, which I —luckily— had kept.

(A P/S Mouse is a Must for every collection, since it’s the only P/S of the whole moveset.)

Farming Ethereal Credits:

I you have a Rogue and also need Coins of Air (for the Dig Rats and Sneaky Marmots which sell well at the AH) then go to that Murloc Beach on Broken Shore (Stonefin Shoals, 38 59). Those little pests respawn faster than you can kill them, they yield good amounts of Coins of Air and, since they are level 111, also Ethereal Credits if you are 120.

Today I saw a pretty cheap one at the AH (150K buyout, 100K bid!). I had the mouse already on the Bid button but somehow said to myself: Come on, try the Caverns one last time. (I find pet dungeons rather boring.) And, still can’t believe it, I got the Spore!

According to Rarity it was the 14th attempt. (Got the Moccasin at 10th or 11th, and several Venomfangs before.)

Got mine in Eastern Plaguelands. Took about 30 Oozling Bags from the Carrions, around coord. 62, 64.

It’s not the worst zone, since you can farm Mr. Grubb at the same time (Hidden Stash from Lucky Charm).
