If you are sick of using a 3 snail team against Chi-Chi, then try this guy on the team.  Making Chi-Chi undead, with Rot, reduces her speed, and therefore her damage (her main ability gets an additional proc if she goes first).

The Swamp Croaker and Mud Jumper are two very underrated pets.  With a team of these, you can knock out just about any other PVE team; even many of the heavy hitters of the pet dailies in the Garrison.  Bubble, Swarm of Flies, and whichever ability is best for the situation in slot one.

I can confirm everything said about the Sternfathom pet journal.  I found it in the first 24 hours of Legion in Azsuna near the wrecked ship questline.  Awesome to have a daily come from a discovered toy!  His team is relatively easily defeated with a Mud Jumper with bubble, a dot and any other attack in the first slot, and the Mechanical Pandaren Dragon.

I found a toy called Sternfathom's Pet Journal.  Seems to allow a daily or weekly pet battle quest in Azsuna.  I will find out today if it's a daily.  I was rewarded 2 pet tokens for the win

A team of these is the only way I have beat Chi-Chi since blizz nerfed the howlbomb.

I challenge everyone to take out a team of Mud Jumpers and Swamp Croakers and see what you can do with them.  You can defeat many garrison dailies with this team.  The combo of aquatic and critter abilities makes them quite versatile.  Use Swarm of Flies, Bubble, and whichever attack is best for the situation in the first slot.  This team can beat many, many foes.

I just got this pet after searching randomly for the books since WotLK came out!  This is THE PET for beating Chi-Chi in the Celestial Tournament... since the Howlbomb nerf during the Legion Pre-patch.  Use Rot to change Chi-Chi into the Undead family, this allows a team of two critters to take out Chi-Chi, as critters take low damage from Chi-Chi, and she will now suffer the Undead disadvantage against their attacks.

Bought on 7/19 (legion pre-patch day), in the Magical Menagerie for 160g (I'm exalted with the Kirin Tor).  Not sure if the early availablity was a glitch, as I thought none of the new pets would be available until the expansion.

This pet might be underrated.  If you select Crush, Tidal Wave, and Geyser, he can pretty much solo most groups of three pets in the wild.  Geyser, Tidal Wave until Geyser hits, then finish with Crush.  Repeat until all are dead.  Each pet swaps in already damaged by Tidal Wave and easier to kill.  Personally, I think the H/P version is best for extra damage.  The health difference between H/P and H/H is not enough to survive one additional round in many cases.
