The pet is exclusive to the old Trading Card Game (TCG) that had a scratch off panel with a code on it. You enter the code in the game (in Booty Bay) to redeem the item. There are 14 TCG pets in the game and sell for between 100-200k each in the AH (as of 6.2.4). They are a common way for players to move gold between servers which keeps the price artificially high. You can buy the cards off of sites like eBay for € $ £ as well.

There is a fine line between farming and buying but unless you are lucky i do find that this is better to watch for in the AH and buy for 10k based on the average gold/hour rates i get

Maybe they should have called it Demon / Undead Edition

 

All but 1 (Sunblade Rune of Activation) seem to be Magic or Undead... not that I am complaining as they need some love...

For the time it takes to level a pet 1 level I just dont see the point in spending marks on a random stone... would rather see one do 2-3 levels maybe, or a battlestone that does not remove levels in the process.

 

Will be another usless item like Polished Battlestone.

I like the idea of Rare Candy in the game but given it only takes 4-5 trainer battles to go from 1 to 25 is it worth it. Still, a nice prize for when we have to tame the new wild level 25's (capture at level 23) so we dont actually have to level them up. Guessing rewards from Garrison or PvP

Its a crying shame that this isnt a reskinned model. There are plenty of Lich skins out there and I was kind of hoping for the pinkish one you see in Dragonblight. This has the feeling of a duplicate TCG card that you want to trade with a freind.

Should be burstable with the Red Rider Airrifle imo

Wonder if he will turn up as a farmable or boss drop in 4.2 when the firelands is available...

I would love to see this pet brought back for London 2012. I am always thrilled to see a new pet but another chance at this would be awesome.
