Found one green right near the tower, between there and the ruined houses, close to the moutainside. Didn't know these guys existed yet, I was there looking for the Restless Shadeling. Still haven't found one of those even though I was there at 12 or so. I guess it's another of those where if you're even a minute late someone will kill them, remember that if you are rare hunting, disconnect and go back in so others can have them without it disappearing. Oh, I got the eye around 3pm server time.

Same here. Also no Achievement for the Cockatiel either. It must be all bought pets that you can't find in the wild.

Johnathon- You are immeasurably lucky to have gotten those other drops in such small kill amounts. For the Dark Whelpling, I spend several days doing nothing but farming (only stopped to sleep), first 1600 or so kill in Burning Steppes, then 400 more in Badlands when it dropped finally. For the Black Tabby I spent at least 1000 kills and left without ever getting it. Camping for a rare Onyxia spawn was easier than this drop farming.

In Burning Steppes farming Flamescale Broodlings and I am at 1400 kills so far and no drop. The information on this site doesn't seem accurate. :/ I am wondering if I should switch to a place with a better drop rate like Dustwallow or to Wetlands so I have a chance to get the crimson whelping as well.

Update: Over 1500, no drop, switching to Wetlands.

Update: Stopped in Badlands instead and got it in 400 kills! And quickly, too since they are bunched together for multiple kills unlike BS.

This guy is always the second pet in a battle group, I recommend going to the very south end of Tanaris, where the turtles are on the beach and there are a lot of Sea Gulls, they tend to piggy back to those guys, and on most of the beach areas for some reason, but unfortunutely almost all of them seem to be poor quality. I've also found them randomly piggy-backed in other places less often but only once or twice on it's own. A few uncommon, I've probably gone through a dozen now and no rares.
