You might mention that Erris/Kura have a really high pet experience modifier. Although you can only battle them once per day, it is the highest/second highest (depending on the level of the carry pet) pet experience modifier in the game and usually a pretty easy fight to two pet.
One thing to note is that these lanterns work really well when put on an Explode team. They bring the Sunlight Weather while being very durable to large hits (due to the magic racial). So you can lead off with a lantern, cast Illuminate without fear of dying, and then immediately swap into the remainder of your explode team and go to town knowing you have a lantern left surviving after all your explosions.

As a note, it's actually less than 20% of your pet score. It's 1/6 of your pet score, which is a bit less (16.666667% ish).

1 point for being level 25.
Not that I am complaining. I like that levelling has a better contribution.
Finally got a spectral tiger cub! woot. Only a few more tradeable pets to go.
