Logically, there is no reason why blizzard would differentiate between the two, if this is correct, using the statistical count on wowhead, the actual droprate for both is 3.05%.

I think its fair to say the droprate is programmed to be 3%.

I found a "Crow" as secondary pet to a level 5 Darkmoon Glowfly, but I couldn't catch it, not allowed.

It is indeed a bit more than one step outside the walls, its more like 30-40 steps with your character. But, I also found one very close to the center of the town, so they are just really spread out, it seems.

I've seen Breed H/B and B/B, however B/B seems more common.

After hunting a specific Breed ID a while, I have noticed that the breed with Power and Speed as rare quality pet shows up fairly often(roughly 5-10% of the time), while the Breed ID I am after, with Health and Power as rare quality, have yet to show.

The word around the water cooler is that these babies spawn once every 10 minutes, with exception of server resets of course when there are loads of them.

Here's what I did:

-Search the web for the lowest population RP server

-Create a DK and level it to 58 to get out of the starting zone

-Go to shadowmoon and enjoy the plentyful spawns

A tip: The mobs will be 10 levels above you, so aggro them and stay as close to them as you can while running away until you lose aggro, and then run back faster than them to spamclick the Fel Flame you want to tame. This usually works, and you will be able to lure mobs away. :) GL
