Please remove this feature. I went from #4 to #13. Way to kill one's motivation. Very disappointed in this site.

He's back on sale in the Blizzard Shop. I bought a BlizzCon ticket, and then continued to shop, and found him there. If you can't see him, then maybe it's because BlizzCon ticket holders can see additional merch in the shop.

He's back on the Blizzard Store. I just bought him today. I did buy a BlizzCon ticket, so maybe with that purchase one can see more items in the shop, so if you can't see him for sale, that might be why.

708 kills (Rarity count), ran round and round ogre cave called Dreadmaul Furnace (40,32) where the respawn is almost immediate and you can run in a circle.  Also the ogres around Dreadmaul Post outside the Furnace (but not the ones inside the caves of the Post) can drop the pet.  I moved on to the groups of Ironmarch Legionnaires (Elite lvl 90) patrolling around the south of the Post (44,44) and the pet dropped after about my 10th kill, perhaps the mobs being elite helps the odds.

Killing mom to steal her baby... not one's finest moment...

I use Chrominius, Coilfang Stalker (P/B) and Dark Phoenix Hatchling (all lvl 25) and it works a charm.  At Honored rep with Arrakoa Outcasts the price drops to 9g and 900g respectively.  Seems possible this price continues to drop as one gains rep levels.  You have the chance to buy the pets once you defeat him, if you forget the day you defeat him to buy them, and go back the next day the quest will have reset and you must defeat him again to have the option to buy the pets.

It looks like this is 100% drop at the moment, after looting mine, i also wondered if it was a rare drop or not, so i hung around and watched other players kill this mob and every one of them had the same visual effect of learning the pet after looting.  Don't know how long this is going to last, though...so for the moment don't be tempted to buy one from the AH (like I almost did), just go get it for yourself :)  Ps. Co-ords for Mandrakor, Gorgrond 49,53

My husband came along to help me grind for this one, he took one end of the pool and I took the other, the Quivering Filth mobs are yellow (so it's easy killing) and spawn like crazy, the faster you kill them the faster they spawn, it takes some patience to finally see an elite, and even then they only spawned in groups of two.  It took about 30 minutes and less than ten elite spawn kills for this to drop.  Considering they are 6K on the AH, was worth the effort.

Considering the high prices on EU-Draenor's AH for these guys I figured it was worth it to try to grind for one myself.  The Gundrak Raptors are located along the snowy outer ring of the Gundrak courtyard and buildings, I never saw one past the buildings so don't bother to look for them there.  Choose a starting point and then zig zag through the raptors in a large circuit along the outer ring. My skinner picked up 198 Borean Leather and 1 Arctic Fur in the 77 kills it took to get him.

They currently spawn at 23.00 CET Sunday night on EU servers, the festival ends 20 minutes later, if you are there when it starts or finishes you get an achievement - Wanderers, Dreamers, and You.  To help you prepare your team in advance it might help to know after three battles on two servers I found the secondary pets were a combination of aquatic, flying and critter.  I used Stunted Yeti, Oily Slimeling and Yellow Moth.

At 25 a H/H breed has 1888 health, making it the pet with the highest health in the flying family.  To get this pet, first one needs to be exalted with Sporeggar, and there are some great comments below about how to get that done quickly.  Once exalted you can buy the pet from Mycah for 30 Glowcaps.  Tiny Sporebats come in three breeds B/B, H/S and H/H.  To get my H/H breed required me to collect 180 Glowcaps (6 tries), but the grind is worth it.  Good luck!

For those of you who are interested in breeds, this pet comes in three breeds, B/B, P/B and H/B.  The P/B is the preferred breed according to this excellent top comment on Wowhead.  This pet is also required to complete the Raiding With Leashes II: Attunement Edition to get the reward Tito's Basket, who just happens to be Dorothee's little pet dog from the Karazhan opera event. :)

While flying across Icecrown omw to the Emerald Proto-Whelps, I decided to circle round and check the spawnpoints for the Unborn Val'kyr when a pawprint turned up and it was her!  I realised I couldn't hit her light enough at the end without killing her, so forfeited, healed, swapped to an Oily Slimeling and used Absorb to get her down to trap level.  She was only a Poor B/B. Used a Flawless Battle-Stone to upgrade her to rare, she is worth it!  Icecrown 48.2, 87.1, 13.15 CET.

Found P/P rare at 30.5, 59.2, Server - Draenor EU, 06.15 CET.  There are two breeds available for the Fjord Worg Pup (H/P & P/P), but reading here (click the comments tab) the comment by Whiterock shows that P/P is best option with a focus on the Bite, Flurry and Leap spells.  Happy hunting :)

Found B/B rares at approx 64.6, 72.9 and 59.0, 64.6 Lordaeron Ruins (above Undercity and just outside the walls) during about an hour of battles.  If you don't want to kill a rare because you already have it, you can forfeit the fight but you will lose 10% on all active pets. If you don't want to take the damage, you can just log out.  The spawn will reset once you log but the rare will remain until someone battles it.  It's a nice way to make other pet collectors happy!

Mr. Bigglesworth is a wonderful pet, not least because you rescue him from the 'reception area' of Naxxramas where mean players like to kill him just for laughs.  Poor little cat.  Rescue aspect aside, he is fun to get because it's a fight to earn him running once-weekly old content raids to get bosses to drop pets for the Raiding With Leashes achievement.  It took three weeks to get him, with help from my husband tanking.  It's fun to run old content too, nice memories!

Found a B/B rare at 42.1,79.4, Zul'Drak, from what I read this is the preferred breed.  Using three level 25s, I rushed through by starting the battle to check if the Water Waveling was a rare, if not I clicked forfeit which costs 10% of all the active battle pets' health.  It was a short trip back to the Stable Master at Argent Stand for healing, this tactic meant about 15 pointless battles were avoided (ie. no xp gain, only downside the chance to miss out on a Battle-Stone dropping).

Re: Spider

While battling a Water Waveling in Zul'Drak, a rare S/S Spider turned up as a secondary pet (dropped to level 20 from capture).  These pets are great because they have high survivability due to their double damage from Brittle Webbing, heals from Leech Life and as a bonus they hit like a truck against critters.  They are great at quickly taking out those pesky nut barraging squirrels too!  I highly recommend a spider for your team.

While battling a Water Waveling in Zul'Drak an H/P rare Huge Toad turned up as a secondary.  Approx 38.5, 73.9, Server - Draenor EU.   There are many spawns of Water Wavelings and Huge Toads are frequently secondary pets, so the odds are good to find a rare if you are hunting for a high level one (he was demoted to level 20 by capture).

Fly around Sindragosa's Fall in Icecrown and target Scourged Whelplings.  Each one comes with two Cockroaches as secondary pets to battle.  Although there are only about a dozen of the Scourged Whelplings flying around (and respawn is a little slow), in the battles I had three rare Cockroaches turned up.  Don't know if this is common, but thought it was worth a mention to anyone who might be looking for a good opportunity to capture a high level Cockroach.
