Ok, so this pet is now official the hardest pet for me to get my little belf hands on (well, not that blood elves have small hands, but well..you know).  I'm hoping the WoW gods are looking down on me while I write this and they take pity on me cause I'm starting to see Grimtotem Mauraders in my dreams!  I do recommend if you are going to start farming for this one...take an alliance toon and round em up at New Thalanaar.  AOE loot ftw. /peeks up and smiles at WoW gods hopefuly.

I had never seen this lil guy on my server before today.  Read some of the comments here and decided to go kill any battle pets i found in the valley, went back up and nothing.  Went down and killed the few critters i could see, went back up, nothing.  Flew around for ages then decided to take a break, came back to comp and there it was!  The killing battle pets/critters thing might have nothing to do with it, but worth trying it!!  Mine spawned at around 69,41. GL all!

Finally had one drop for me after thousands of kills, SO HAPPY. I highly recommend getting the spot around 67,47 (I think thats it, where the orcs and dragonkin are fighting).  The spawn rate is brilliant there, aoe them down and auto loot. There are two small groups on either side of them, I found that if I ran up and quickly got those, the pack in the middle spawned faster and with more of them in one hit. I got into a cycle of left pack, middle, right pack, middle, etc. Good luck!

FINALLY! I have tried every method possible to get this guy.  I had been re-trying the flight path method this morning, unsuccessfully, so went back and there was Immolatus.  I killed him (again) but this time stuck around and kept killing infernals and critters around where he was and a poor Minfernal popped up!!  Keep at it, it is all about luck with this one.  No one method seems to work for everyone, so try them all!!!  Good luck guys!  

Found in Tanaris, at 64,60 after flying nearly the entire coastline and starting to think I would have no luck here. Pretty easy capture with the team I have of lvl 13s. Happy hunting! 

Found both the Twilight Beetle and Twilight Spider at Sable Ridge as mentioned above.  There were no spiders there the first few fly arounds but I killed off the few roaches that were there and on the next fly around, there was this little spider :) 

Got this pet today yay! So Glad that I can get both but not thrilled that I have to do that daily ten times to get him, found it terribly hard to control :P However that being said, at least I dont have to farm him (which I tend to have not so great luck with) lol

I had incredible luck with this lil beauty. I am one of those people that generally have very little luck when it comes to farming, to the point where until recently, I have done very little. This pretty whelp dropped for me the second time I had been there (the first a month before that), and I got the drop on my second run around the mob, about 4 kills into it. I think Im going to pay for it with my Crimson, who just wont drop for me. Seems the WoW gods do like their balance in the world:P

I truly thought this pet was going to be a nightmare to get given the spawn rate and the 'nonsense' books (as my hubby and I came to call them). Thankfully hubby and I got lucky and managed to get into the spawn timing quickly so we were able to time out check runs. There are some fabulous tips on this site and the guide is a must read so you can be sure you are looking in the right places. Then it is just a matter of some patience and a little luck. Good fun and easier to do with a friend!

OMG I love this lil cutie! Got her today after only about 5 or 6 casts down on the beach near the docks. Lovely summoning animation and it makes some terribly cute noises when you poke it :D
Sooo pleased it didn't take me as long to get this one as it did for me to get the Giant Sewer rat! lol
And to top it all off, she was my 75th pet so got my achievement as well! :D

Got this guy today, along with the Worg pup, solo'd it on my lvl 74 hunter pretty easily, both dropped on the first run so from all reports the 100% drop rate looks true.

Got this little guy today, Along with the Smolderweb Hatchling. Solo'd the instance on my lvl 74 hunter pretty easily. Both pets dropped on the first run and I'm planning on going through it again to help a friend get it, hopefully the 100% drop rate is correct. Was sooo happy when I got these two, especially the pup since it completed my wolf family. I now have the wolf mounts, a wolf pet (called Spire since I tamed him in that very instance) and the pup.
