Saw a single one of these in a week of pet battles in the sulpher fields area. If you see this pet grab as a placeholder as it will be very difficult to farm a good quality with ideal stats - like others have said , it seems to share a spawn with the other bird pets and can only spawn as the main pet. Also does not count towards the safari achievement in the cavern.

Its appearance seems very buggy atm, maybe should re-name this one to Twilight Glitch-Sister

Can confirm this is currently a once a day loot, after first kill they drop  gold. Easiest way to get them fast is 1 kill then swap to an alt, they only have a couple of minutes respawn. Cagable and sellable on AH

Like the mount that uses the same model this pet has some bizzare graphics bugs when you use colour change items on it like fel petal and spirit wand.

Appears at 31,67 Temple of Sha'Nar in Tanaan Shortly after the death of the rare ceraxas, a large fel wolf.

it is a small pup (abandoned fel pup) near the ledge with a quest marker over its head and is recieved as soon as the quest 'a fel pup of my own' is accepted

Found at 39, 91 , bottom south-west corner of map

Got one at 52, 70 directly in front of the quest mob spineslicer

This pet seems to have a lot higher drop rate since 6.1, can anyone confirm?

Its been hotfixed to drop off elite slimes now

got mine after about 20 or so kills of the elite slimes, the elites spawn faster the more small slime you kill.

These Roaches are only found in a few areas around Hyjal, Lightning ridge near shrine of Goldrinn, The small Twilight camp in Circle of Cinders and Ascendants rise near sulfuron spire. Although the Pet itself is very slow spawning, it can also be found as a secondary pet to twilight beetles and other pets in the zone which are much more plentifull.

To get this pet you need to go to Isle of giants and hand in 999 (a large pile of ) dinosaur bones to the npc the bone collector who is in a cave on the west side of the island. If you are soloing it is probably easiest to kill the direhorn hatchlings from which you recieve 7 - 9 bones a kill.

These drop on the trash just before council in the Throne of Thunder raid instance (not boss) in a 25 man raid we saw 1 drop.  The item is tradable. So far have seen 1 out of 2 trash clears .

edit : this item also drops as a loot item in lfr on council of elders

G ' nathus spawns a the far north of the most northern island in townlong and patrols the top part of the island back and fourth. He has a 10 min respawn timer and for an easy kill get a healer, good tank and 1 - 3 dps.He is best fought from one of the small ledges with the tank in the water (so healers have somewhere to put totems and statues if needed) try and interrupt his lighning breath for healers mana. Drop rate on the pet is 100%. pet is both sellable without learning as an item or cageable later on.

these can be found in the swamp north of court of bones, currently they are phased but can be snagged before they phase out by either clicking in them really fast while running in and out of the phase or by making a target interact macro, only 1 - 2 seem to be up at a time, they are usually accompanied by 2 other random island pets and are in the same are as electrified razortooth, another nice new pet model.

These pets now seem to be spawning correctly in the wildvine marsh area, and all over the rest of the swamp areas on isle of thunder, they appear as a primary only and close to lv 25

the rares of these seem incredibly hard to find, still havnt come up with one in 3x sandstorm clears

Had one of these drop from the bag from oddly enough, the earth spirit npc, along with other spirits its seems to average about a 20-25% drop rate atm from the bags (currently myself and other trainers I know averaging 1 spirit a day from 4 bags)

had one of these drop from the air spirit bag, I am averaging - 1-2 spirits from the legendaries bags every reset so looks like the drop is around 20-25% on these new pets.

these seem to spawn slowly then in a big group (approx 30 mins to 1 hour spawns) i got my rare after about the 4th clear , commons and poor quality seem to be very common with this pet unfortunatly. No other people camping at the time and didnt use any critter force spawning. about 99% of these spawn on the outer ring of the crater with a few scattered inside and farther out.

Found a rare alone over behind the lake, they spawn all around Kara and in some cases on the main building itself, spawns with no other pets. seems to spawn sporadicly.

if your Horde their seems to be a bug where these hatchlings that appear in the alli bases and wildhammer are only attackable mobs (even with a pet icon above their head). they often appear in pairs when fighting twilight fiendling  and random singles when fighting other pets in the area. Edit: the double spawning with twilight fiendling seems to have been cut, they now spawn rarely as with other critters.

a mass of these will spawn right after a reset, leave a character there and log in as soon as the server has reset, when all the cross server realms come back up you will have a few seconds to grab one of the 5 or so up.
