Re: Geordy

Combine 15 Ephemra Strands to create an Ephemera Orb. Right click orb to open for a chance at Geordy. Got mine on first orb but your mileage may vary. GL all!

This evil bundle of steel kills critters with impunity and leaves a bloody mess for me to clean up while out questing in the world.

Finally crafted this guy today. Named him Jay Jay and he's awesome. Rare when learned, thank goodness, so no stones needed to upgrade like Lil Bling. Well worth the wait of 15 days. Also can confirm, he's BOP and non-cageable.

Have a stone ready. He's uncommon quality when learned (aka green)

Fair warning.. he is "uncommon" aka green quality when you learn him.

Sadly, this "flying" pet does not fly with you on a flying mount.

Alosonder at http://www.wowhead.com/npc=71163#comments has a full list of tomtom coordinates. Very useful.

Was simply fishing Reef Octopus pools in Karasang Wilds for my Mimic of the day when this one dropped. I'm not sure you actually need 800+ fishing to obtain either but I was charmed and specifically fishing the RO pools.

Managed to find one on the way to the QM on the island. He was in the swampy area there. I have, also, found a lot of phased areas that will probably be opened up as incursion in the island happens. Phasing is obviously an issue at the moment for some of the spawns of pets. Happy hunting all.

This pet has proven, so far, to be the most painful to get. Even on low population servers, I see people "farming" for a rare and leaving none for those who don't have one instead of moving along.

After spending a good 5 hours farming for a rare on 2 different servers, I've come to the following conclusions: 1. Phasing of the area is a factor although it won't stop you from obtaining a rare. 2. Most of the Blighthawks I encountered were secondaries to main opponents. 3. Most, but not all the time, the BH ended up as a secondary to a Black Rat.  4. Because it is often a secondary opponent, BH can be found accross the WPL if you take the time to farm the whole area. GL All.

Depending on your server  - and anyone else with the same idea - the wee hours of the morning are best for farming for your rare. For me, it was around the 5-6am time. There were tons of girraffe calves across the area during this time and took about 7 tries for a rare after several common, uncommon and one green. Good luck!

3.5 hours, 677 casts... FINALLY... I hate Bliz's RNG sometimes more than it seems to hate me.

I'm sad that not all my alts can have this one as well as my main to go along with their winged guardian mounts.
