After 2wks I finally got mine today :)
Of all the Spirits I found this battle the easiest.
I have a team of 3 Wild Dragons I use for this battle.
Wild Jade Hatchling (most hp), Wild Golden Hatchling (harder hits),
Wild Crimson Hatchling (self heals).
My 3 are slower than the Whispering Spirits pets, so I use that to my advantage
(ie: Tail Sweep for double hits).
I also found water and fire attacks are effective. Hope this helps
5 wks and still no luck yet. I have witnessed (what I would consider) "bully" behaviour and it saddens me greatly. Sick of 'brute squad mentality' guild groups, that make it impossible to get one of these dragons. We all would like the chance to add as many pets as possible, please remember to play fair guys and girls!
After weeks of frustrated camping, and being muscled out of chances to battle( guilds swarming spawns, so no-one else has a chance to try)

Got the achievement but found no pet! No need to log out
just 'revive' battle pets, and there he is (strange glitch?!)
Now I have my own Lil' Cthulhu pet >.<
Was delighted to find a Crow on my first Darkmoon Glowfly.
Found 2 more crows with 7 glowflies all poor.
Got my Venus today, can't believe I finally reached 400.
Don't give up guys and girls you will get there!
Afterall if I can do it, (and I am extremely lazy most weeks)
then anyone with even a little determination can too!

While searching for a Rare Fjord Worg Pup
I also caught the following rares who were second and third pets during battles.. Devouring Maggot, Turkey and Skunk. Hope this helps :)
Yet to find one of these guys, but still hunting! I have noticed though, that alot of pets are still showing as 'grey' (incomplete) in Pandaren Safari, is anyone else having this problem?
The ability to stun or interupt makes the fight much easier!
I personally have given up on this pet.

At festival on Galakrond just this past Sunday,just in time for the closing ceremony, got my achievement and left. Realised that I hadn't captured the W.F.Hatchling, darted back to find they were all gone. An hour later I was back doing archeology and a random Pet showed up for battle near the mogu ruins closest to Turtle Beach. To my shock it was a Rare W.F.Hatchling. Maybe a glitch? But I was happy as!
I caught a rare (blue) dragon near the Cloud Serpent Quarter Master just this morning! They are around, just takes awhile to find one. It was my 8th Golden battle, all the others were common or poor.
My goregous Guild member 'Anancy' made this lil cutie for me today Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling! I love this pet soooo cute!!

I just couldn't seem to get the final book, then randomly
I checked today (after 5 wks & 6 days of junk books) the book 'Introduction' finally spawned! Promised myself I won't be doing this again >.>
I got him FINALLY yay!!!
Can't believe I finally broke the 400 mark
Wonder if I'll ever complete my collection?
