To collect this pet players will need to collect a Petrified Dragon Egg and Eroded Fossil, and then speak with Cymre Brightblade who will reward the pet. Note that the World Quest Brightblade's Bones must be active for this NPC to be spawned.

This turtle eats bugs, as you'd expect from its name, but you wouldn't believe how large the bugs are.
Outlaw Rogues using Find Treasure can see both the fossil and the egg on their mini-map.
I found the fossil a few days ago at the waterfall everyone has mentioned, but after searching every cave every day for the past 4 days I have not found the egg. Does the egg only spawn when the npc is up? If not, then I am having some really bad luck.
I found my first Petrified Dragon Egg when the Climbing Quest and Cymre Brightblade were up at the Apex Canopy. I found it in the cave just to the right of Cymre Brightblade.
UPDATE - Things I discovered about the Petrified Dragon Egg:
1) Toons are not restricted to looting just one. I have found 4 6 now.
2) The quest does not have to be available for the egg to spawn. Only one was found while the quest was available.
3) You can carry more than one egg at any time. 3rd and 4th are both in my bag waiting for the quest.
I think I have to agree I have been able to find one of the items in seconds on 5 toons but cannot find the other one on any of them. It may be limited to 1 item.
Unless changed in the last day or so, not so, I've been able to turn in three, two on one character, one on another. All on the same account.
I think this might be limited to one discovery per account. I found the two objects the first time in five minutes, got the pet, no problem. But I've been searching for hours on my other character and can't find either of them.
