Had to do 3 or 4 rounds of the spawn points, killing non-battle polliswogs and other battle pets nearby to try and force a polliswog battle pet spawn. Eventually got it, at the swog pool at 34,67

You will find critters anywhere really as long as it is by the water, but there will be only one active battle pet at any given time. Luckily there are only 3 spots to look at in Thaldraszus x)
