Quite a few of these on Tusk Isle and Isle of Fangs in Zuldazar. Also found a few as secondaries to Leafy Flutterwings.

It does have Sandstorm so keep that in mind if you are using any pet with a swarm-like ability to defeat it.

Beware though, some are spawned underwater.

There are a lot of spawns near Zeb'Ahari in Zuldazar. Will sometimes have Golden Beetles, Shore Butterflies, and Barrier Hermits as secondaries. Usually it is other Leafy Flutterwings though.

@Chick182 The Monk class hall pet will still be available. So no worries there. ^^

Another good substitute for the Teroclaw Hatchling in the Wailing Critters and Deadmines is a Puddle Terror (1,1,2). If you look on Xu'fu's page and look through the comments on the dungeon fights you will find some alternatives to the Teroclaw.

If you having flying it shouldn't take too long to collect all the orbs. Just make sure you click them in order. Once you have Kosumoth summoned he has a chance to reward this for his world quest. He is 112 elite, so it helps to have someone else (or a group) to help kill him. Good luck!

Honestly, this guy (in P/P breed) is my favorite pet for wild pet fights and pvp. You can stay at full health using Shell Shield and Renewing Mists. Shell Shield completely blocks most flock abilities and dots. Some fights can be a little slow since your Surge only does 282 dmg.

If you are leveling pets just throw on Renewing Mists before swapping them in, helps keep them topped off.

I have found this pet is actually a good alternative to a Nexus Whelpling in a lot of fights (not all obviously).  Tail Sweep, Mana Surge, and Arcane Storm is my go to setup for this little guy. Very nice against wild flying pets.

Added Bonus: Super cute and easy to get!

Easy to farm a rare since often times there will be two or three following a Mongoose. I found my rare outside of Niuzao Temple.

It had a Yakrat and a Grasslands Hopper as secondary pets, they can also have a Mongoose or another Mongoose Pup as a secondary as well.

Easy to fight if you use a flying pet and watch to see if he is using dive. I used a Fledgling Kingfeather (25) to fight him. I also had a Cat (25) and a Siamese Cat (25) as backups.

Found a rare outside of Niuzao Temple. It had a few Mongoose Pups following it around, which is nice if you are looking to capture those as well.

Easy fight with any flying pet. I used a Flegdling Kingfeather (25), then had a Cat (25) and a Siamese Cat (24) as back-up to fight the secondaries. The secondaries this one had was a Yakrat and another Mongoose.

Someone already mentioned this, but there is a heavy amount of spawn points for this pet near the Kafi legendary pet.

They aren't too hard to fight. I used an Anubisath Idol for my main pet (1,1,1). If the Summit Kid has Stampede you can bring any low lvl pet for a lvling since Sandstorm blocks the damage.

Took a really long time to find a rare unfortunately.

The first one I saw was a rare. It was a secondary to a Bloodbeak on the road to Zeth'Gol. I was able to fight it with a Fledgling Kingfeather (25), a Rose Taipan (24), and a Feral Vermling (19). Was a really easy fight, it's 'Blood In The Water' would often miss.

One of the better looking crabs in game imo.

I found a rare right above Conservatory of the Arcane in Mac'Aree. I was able to take it down with a Golden Eaglet (25) and a Dancing Water Skimmer (24). I also had a Fawn (24) for backup.

Very easy fight, will either do critter or beast damage. I found they usually use Feign Death early on in the battle. Most of mine had a Warpstalker Runts and Pygmy Marsuuls for secondarys.

Found my rare right outside of Orgrimmar in Durotar. I was really lucky and found it as a rare on my second pet battle. I used a Winter Rageling (lvl 2) to fight it.

This pet doesn't have secondary pets during the battle, just the Creepy Crawly.

Caught my rare Dung Beetle today. It wasn't too hard too find, I just stayed in Orgrimmar the whole time. The place I found that had the most spawns was near the Cata portals. It seemed like I had more uncommon spawns than anything else. I just used a Pygmy Owl (1) to fight it.

Found a rare in Highmountain as a secondary to a Coralback Fiddler. He doesn't do too much damage, but does like to self heal a lot. I used a Nordrassil Wisp (25), a Tiny Apparition (24), and a Rabid Nut Varmint 5000 (20). Was not the best team to use against it, but no one died.

Finally caught a rare today. I found it in Azsuna, right above the final 'a' in Narthalas. It had a poor lvl Bandicoon and a poor level Kelp Scuttler for its backup. I was able to take it down with a lvl 25 Nordrassil Wisp, a lvl 17 Nether Faerie Dragon, and a lvl 23 Thornclaw Broodling on my team. The Nether Faerie did most of the work during the fight.

Note: Avoid using a pet with the swarm/flock/etc. ability. The Coastal Sandpiper can have Sandstorm and it will make it difficult to capture.

You can get this after raid finder, so no need to clear the whole raid (unless you want to lol). Don't worry about trying to hurry, you won't get kicked out of the instance. Very easy to find a rare one since each battle is just 3 Dream Whelplings, mine was an add-on to a poor quality. Easy battle, but does heal itself quite a bit. Was able using a Erudite Manafiend (25), Mist Fox Kit (24), and Ban-Fu (19).

Re: Fawn

Found 2 rares while hunting for a Shimmering Aquafly in Val'sharah. Was an add-on to previously mentioned pet in a pet battle. I was able to solo it with a Golden Eaglet (24). Just watch out for all of the healing that it does.

Found a rare right above Smolderhide Thicket in Val'sharah. It had a Kelp Scuttler and an Elfin Rabbit as addons. Was able to solo and capture it with a Blood Boil (25). Had a Golden Eaglet (24) and Rabid Nut Varmint 5000 (16) to take care of the add-ons. Was a relatively easy fight.

Found my rare right above Nor'danil Well spring in Azsuna. Was able to solo and capture it with Blood Boil (25). Used an Erudite Manafiend (24) and an Anodized Robo Cub (19) to take care of the add-ons. It had a Grizzly Squirrel and a Bandicoon for its add-ons.

I found a rare while hunting for them while in Faronaar in Azsuna. Does put up quite the fight, so make sure to be prepared. I caught mine while using a Ancient Nest Guardian (25), Erudite Manafiend (23), and Anodized Robo Cub (17). Barely made it out of the fight alive with all of the poisons and webs.

I got mine today as a rare. I just kept running around killing all the beaver critters that would spawn along the river below Talonrest and pet battling the Stormstruck Beavers that would spawn until I could get a rare one to spawn. Most of mine have spawned right next to the petrified fisherman. He does put up a fight, I used two aquatic pets that had a mix of aquatic and beast spells. Then used my Ancient Nest Guardian to get the add-ons.
