Nabbed mine as an add in Booty Bay, odly enough.

It is bugged for the achievement for sure though.

Found mine as an add on an alpine chipmunk in the north end of Winterspring.

Nabbed mine in moonglade as an add on a squirrel, but didn't see any singles.

I nabbed a poor quality one after killing several ms, flying to the north of the zone, then riding back on the ground.

No idea if that actually works or if I'm just lucky.

Found one just north of the Ruins of Constellas.

Assuming that the hp for them don't change arbitrarily, Uncommon has 496 hp, so Rare should have more.

Got lucky and found one in the water north of the marshfin murloc camp at the southeast corner of the zone.

I'd reccomend for people looking for a moccasin to just make a loop around the zone following the waterways, taking out any other pets you find to increase the chance of one spawning.

Found a duo of them on a island north of bloodmire, and found one as an add near stonard.  Didn't see any others on my rounds looking for a moccasin.

There seems to be either a low total number of BP spawns in the blasted lands, or they have an exessively long respawn time, because I have yet to see a single spawn anywhere near the dark portal.

When I got on early to nab a restless shadeling, I swung by and nabbed one right in the middle of where they're supposed to spawn. They may not spawn fast, but when they do, they spawn in their designated area.
