I imagine this could be a nod to the show "Futurama" where they had the heads of famous people preserved in jars to provide information about the past.
I ran MC about twenty times during the anniversary event and NEVER had the pet drop for me....was a bit disappointing to do all that work as a tank and not see any reward (ie. Hatespark).....can't even buy him from the AH as he runs over 150k on my server
I spent two hours at the Fish of the Day in Kun-Lai Summit with no luck at all...decided to try over at the lake near Temple of Niuzao and got the tiny red carp on my first cast....now my collection is complete!!!
Got it after killing my 2nd elite.....was my lucky day!
I believe its been confirmed on Twitter from the devs that it will begin spawning on the summer solstice, which is June 21. Good luck hunting and just sit back and enjoy the ride! Remember its not the destination but the voyage that makes all the difference!
Finally caught mine around 4:13 am EST just down the path from the portal entrance to AQ20....beat two Horde characters to it....was a poor quality H/H breed but I had a Flawless Humanoid Battlestone
After thirteen days of camping/flying around, I finally found this little lady at 2:09 am server time on 3 June in Grizzly Hills at coordinates 61, 18. She was common quality H/H breed but I had a stone aim my bags so now she is a rare.....since I spent so much time looking for her I had to max out her level immediately....good luck to my fellow pet collectors, and I for one WILL NOT enter Northrend zone with her out at any point in time!!!
I am an avid pet collector but after several attempts at the Celestial Tournament when it first came out, I gave up and decided I could live without the four mini celestials.....Blizzard took a fun in-game experience and turned it into a grind that was no longer fun for me. At least a enjoy the battles at my menageries!
