The comment about not being able to rename your Black Lamb isn't true. I just tried it and it worked fine. If that did problem did exist, then Blizzard has since fixed it.

I had the worst luck getting a P/S breed. It took me multiple tries over multiple days going through the whole forest looking for the lamb with the breed I want. For some reason some of the lambs' breeds showed up as ??? but when I would capture them I could see the breed, and one of the ??? turned out to be P/S finally

So I wanted the rare dark green color skin and found a wood wasp as a secondary pet in Gorgrond, so I could do that trick where I keep starting the fight until the secondary pet is the skin that I want. Man, I was at it for two hours or restarting the fight over and over until I was on the verge of giving up and the secondary pet finally turned turn the dark green I was able to capture! it. So hang in there if you find the wasp as a secondary. You can eventually get the dark green.
